About the Boiler Service Centre

The Boiler Service Centre website was launched in April 2007 with a single aim: to be the best independant source of information on gas boiler servicing on the web! BSC was conceived by a group of friends spread across the length and breadth of the UK from the South Coast to Northhumbria, who found that, no matter their location, finding a reliable, efficient, good value boiler service was damn hard work!

We realised a lot of our problems came from lack of basic knowledge - it’s very easy to be ripped off when you don’t know what you’re talking about! We decided to collect some basic information together so we could find and talk to gas boiler servicing engineers in a more informed fashion, realised the same information would be useful to others, and the rest is history.

At the time of writing it’s early days and the site so far is a small (but, we hope, useful!) collection of articles. We hope to expand over the course of 2007 though, with more homeowner-written articles coming online along with expert advice from Corgi registered engineers. An engineers directory is also in the works, which will feature gas boiler servicing companies alongside customer reviews so you can make an informed choice.
